About

Small enough to care.
Built to scale.

We are a focused annotation team for companies building AI that has to work in the real world: on roads, in hospitals, on shop floors and in fields.

Nex Annotation was started on a simple observation: most model failures we saw in production traced back to labels that were never defined clearly in the first place.

So we built the company the other way round. Before we hire for volume, we invest in the things that make labels consistent: written guidelines, gold sets, review layers and reporting that an ML engineer can actually use.

Our annotators are full-time, trained per domain and certified on each client’s gold set before working on production data. Our QA leads report to quality, not throughput. And every project has one accountable project manager you can reach directly.

Part of NexTribes

NexTribes

Nex Annotation is the data annotation practice of NexTribes Tech, which designs and ships production AI systems (custom agents, RAG and enterprise software) and embeds senior AI engineers into client teams.

That matters for your data. Our guidelines are written with people who train and deploy models, so labels are shaped by how they will be used, and contracts, NDAs and invoicing run through an established company.

Principles

01

Say what we measure

If a claim can’t be checked in a report, it doesn’t go in a proposal.

02

Ask, don’t guess

An ambiguous item becomes a question in the issue log, never a silent judgement call.

03

Train before we scale

No annotator touches production data until they pass your gold set.

04

Pay people properly

Annotation is skilled work. Fair pay and real career paths keep experienced people on your project.
